Why Is the Display on My fēnix 8 AMOLED Watch Not Turning On?

Some Garmin watches feature an AMOLED display with customizable display features. The display can be turned off in the Controls menu. With Display turned Off the Always On Display, Alerts, and Gesture features will all be disabled. However, you can still activate the display manually by pressing the LIGHT (upper left) button, or by touching the display if Touch is enabled. 

Turning the Display On or Off

1. From any screen, hold LIGHT (upper left) button.

2. Select Display.

3. Press START (upper right) button.
