Paperless Geocaching

Geocaching is a GPS-based treasure hunt in which users hide treasure-like items, and provide a series of clues and coordinates to find the geocache. As these can become very detailed, it often requires you to print off these clues to take with you.

Many of our On the Trail devices can perform paperless geocaching, in which all of the additional information is stored on the device itself. You are even able to leave comments for a cache once it is found.

For steps on sending geocaches to a compatible device, see related content. To confirm if your device has paperless geocaching review the Specs Tab of the product on garmin.com or review the owner's manual. Instructions for finding the owner's manual can be found in the related content below.
