Pairing a vivofit or vivofit 2 with Garmin Connect Mobile

When paired with your device, the Garmin Connect Mobile app can wirelessly upload and share fitness data with the Garmin Connect website as well as send smart notifications from your smartphone to your wrist.


To pair your vivofit device choose your phone's platform: 


Android: 

  1. Ensure that Bluetooth is enabled on the Android device 
  2. Place the Android device within 10 ft. (3 m) of the watch
  3. On the Android device, open the Garmin Connect Mobile app
  4. Touch the Menu button (3 lines) located in the upper-left corner
  5. Touch Garmin Devices
  6. Touch Add Device
  7. Touch Browse all compatible devices
  8. Touch vivo
  9. Touch vivofit, or vivofit 2
  10. Enter each field of required Personal Information
  11. Touch Next
  12. Press and Hold the device key on the watch until PAIR appears
  13. Touch Next in the Garmin Connect Mobile app
  14. Verify Passcode shown in app matches code shown on watch screen
  15. Touch Yes
  16. Allow initial Syncing to complete
  17. Touch Done


iOS: 

  1. Ensure that Bluetooth is enabled on the iOS device
  2. Place the iOS device within 10 ft. (3 m) of the watch
  3. On the iOS device, open the Garmin Connect Mobile app
  4. Touch the More icon located in the lower right corner
  5. Touch Garmin Devices
  6. Touch Add Device
  7. Touch Browse all compatible devices
  8. Touch vivo
  9. Touch vivofit, or vivofit 2,
  10. Enter each field of required Personal Information
  11. Touch Next
  12. Press and Hold the device key on the watch until PAIR appears
  13. Touch Next in the Garmin Connect Mobile app
  14. Verify Passcode shown in app matches code shown on watch screen
  15. Touch Yes
  16. Allow initial Syncing to complete
  17. Touch Done


Windows Mobile:

  1. Ensure that Bluetooth is enabled on the device
  2. Place the mobile device within 10 ft. (3 m) of the watch
  3. Open the Garmin Connect Mobile app
  4. Touch the Menu button (3 lines) located in the upper-left corner
  5. Touch Add Device
  6. Touch Browse all compatible devices
  7. Touch vivo
  8. Touch vivofit, or vivofit 2
  9. Enter each field of required Personal Information
  10. Touch Next
  11. Press and Hold the device key on the watch until PAIR appears
  12. Touch Next in the Garmin Connect Mobile app
  13. Verify Passcode shown in app matches code shown on watch screen
  14. Touch Yes
  15. Allow initial Syncing to complete
  16. Touch Done


The vivofit/vivofit 2 is now successfully paired with the Garmin Connect Mobile app.
