Data Loaded to an SD Card an Automotive Device will Recognize
Garmin Automotive Devices will Read a Variety of Data from an SD card. The Recognized Data Types are Listed Below:
Garmin map image files loaded to the card from Garmin Express™ application, Garmin BaseCamp™ application, or through Garmin's downloadable web content.
User-created routes for devices supporting multiple-point routing.1,2
These files do not require you to keep the memory card installed in the device once imported.
Files will be imported to the internal storage.
Waypoints1 and custom Points of Interest (POI) files.

2 GPX files must be located in a "GPX" folder within a "Garmin" folder on the SD card. You can create these folders manually when the SD card is connected to your computer.
