How to Find the Software Version of Garmin Power Meter Pedals

The software version currently installed on a Rally or Vector system can be viewed on your paired Garmin device. Select your device below to reveal instructions.

NOTE: Spin the pedals a few rotations to wake the pedals up. They must be awake and connected in order to view software information.

Edge 500

Press and hold the PAGE/MENU button to open the Menu.
Select Settings.
Select Bike Settings.
Select your Bike Profile.
Select ANT+ Power.
Select About.

Edge 510 and 810

Touch the Tools icon from the Main Menu.
Select Bike Profiles.
Select the profile for the bike that the power meter is installed on.
Select Power (dumbbell icon).
Select Sensor Details.
Select About.

Edge 520 and 520 Plus

Press the up button from the Main Menu to go to the Status menu.
Select the Sensors menu.
Select the paired pedals.
Select Sensor Details.

Edge 530

From the main screen select the Menu icon.
Select Sensors.
Select the power meter icon.
Select Sensor Details.
Select About.

Edge 800

Touch the Tools icon from the Main Menu.
Select Bike Settings.
Select Bike Profiles.
Select the profile for the bike that the pedals are installed on.
Select ANT + Power.
Select Sensor Details.
Select About Sensor.

Edge 820

Touch the Menu icon.
Select Settings.
Select Sensors.
Select Power Meter.
Select Sensor Details.

Edge 1000, Explore 1000

Touch the Tools icon from the Main Menu.
Select Sensors.
Select the paired pedals.
Select Sensor Details.

Edge 1030 Series and 830

Touch the Options icon from the Main Menu.
Select Sensors.
Select the paired pedals.
Select Sensor Details.

Edge 130 Series

Press and Hold UP.
Select Sensors.
Select Paired pedals.
Select Information.
Select About.

Forerunner 735XT

Press the Start/Stop Button.
Select Settings.
Select Sensors and Accessories.
Select Power Meter.
Select About.

Forerunner 910XT

Press and hold the MODE button to put the device into Bike mode.
Press the MODE button to open the Main Menu.
Select Settings.
Select Bike Settings.
Select your Bike Profile.
Select ANT + Power.
Select Sensor Details.
Select About.

Forerunner 920XT

Press the Menu button to go to the Main Menu.
Select Settings.
Select Sensors & Accessories.
Select the paired pedals.
Select About.

Forerunner 935

Press and hold the menu key to access the menu of the watch.
Select Settings.
Select Sensors & Accessories.
Select Power.
Select About.

Forerunner 255 Series, 745, 945/945 LTE, and 955/955 Solar

Press and hold the menu key to access the menu of the watch.
Press the arrow down key. Under settings select Sensors & Accessories.
Select Power.
Select About.

You can also run the Vector Updater application (Vector and Vector 2) or use the Garmin Connect app (Rally and Vector 3). These two applications will report the current firmware on the Vector pedals, and allow you to update the firmware if a newer version is available.
