Activate a Map Update to a Device Using a Product Key/Voucher Code

If you have purchased a onetime map update or a map update subscription from a local or online dealer, you may have received a Product Key/Voucher Code on a scratch-off card or via email. This Product Key/Voucher Code can be entered into Garmin Express™ in order to activate it to your device. 

To Activate the Update:

1. Open Garmin Express™

See How Do I Install Garmin Express™? for installation instructions. 

2. Follow the prompts on the screen to Add a Device to Garmin Express™ 

3. Click Tools & Content

4. Click the Purchased tab

5. Type the Product Key/Voucher Code in the Enter Voucher Code field, then click Redeem

6. Click Select

7. Click Confirm

8. Sign in to your myGarmin Account

The update will now be activated to your device.
