Image Stabilization on the VIRB Ultra 30

The VIRB Ultra 30 can use onboard sensors to digitally compensate for camera movement in 3 axes: vertical, horizontal and rotational. This results in a smooth playback experience, reducing shake, vibration, and jarring movements.

To turn on image stabilization:

  1. From the Main Menu, select Video
  2. Change the setting for Stabilizer to on

The stabilizer is only compatible with the following Video Settings:

  • Resolution - 720p, 1080p, or 2.7k
  • FPS - 30 or 60
