Troubleshooting Bike Speed Sensor (BSS) ANT+ Pairing Issues
Below are some troubleshooting steps to take if the Bike Speed Sensor (BSS) will not establish a connection with your device:
Place sensor on front wheel of bicycle. This will move sensor furthest from a component which may be magnetized.
Electrical interference, such as computer monitors and high-voltage electrical lines, may produce pairing issues.
Replace CR2032 battery in BSS. Wait at least 30-60 seconds after old battery is removed before installing new battery.
It may be necessary to rescan for BSS. Reference your Owner's Manual for more information to rescan for BSS.
Ensure your device software is up to date using Garmin Express.
Ensure green LED flashes for 5 seconds after 2 revolutions.
These steps will help ensure your BSS properly pairs with your device.
