What Are Cycling Dynamics?
Cycling dynamics are metrics and visual displays based upon data recorded by dual sensing Rally and Vector power meter pedals. This data is then transmitted and displayed on compatible Garmin Fitness and Outdoor devices. Cycling dynamic data can also be analyzed in Garmin Connect by uploading and viewing the details of the activity.
Cycling dynamics include:
Cycling Dynamics Requirements
In order to record cycling dynamics data during your ride, you must meet the following requirements:
You own a dual-sensing Rally or Vector 3 power meter pedal set.
Rally RK200, RS200, or XC200.
Vector 3 (Vector 3S is not a dual-sensing power meter pedal).
Your pedals are paired to your head unit or watch via the ANT+ channel.
Cycling dynamics data will not transmit via BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy).
To check, view Sensors > Power Meter > Connection Type.
- If you have the option, simply select ANT+ and the channel will switch from BLE to ANT+.
Re-pairing Pedals to the ANT+ Channel
If you need to unpair your pedals in order to pair them via ANT+, select one of the options below to reveal instructions. Otherwise, refer to your owner's manual.
