'No Songs Were Found' Message or MP3 Files not Showing on a zūmo XT or zūmo XT2
The zūmo® XT and zūmo® XT2 GPS navigators can read MP3 files from the internal memory of your device or a memory card.
See the help below if the MP3 files are not showing or if there is an error message on the zumo device.
Using a Memory Card Loaded with the MP3 Files from an Older zūmo may not work right away.
Resolution:
When the memory card is installed in the zūmo® XT or zūmo® XT2 GPS navigators, it will have to be turned off completely and then back on for the files to be recognized.
See Difference between Turning Off an Automotive Device and Activating Standby/Sleep/Suspend Mode for instructions on turning the device all the way off.
The device will read the MP3 files from the memory card once it has been rebooted.
Error Message "No songs were found. To play songs, copy music files into the MP3 folder"
Resolution:
Making an MP3 folder is required for a zūmo XT or zumo XT2 to read and play the MP3 files
This MP3 folder is needed on either an SD card or the internal storage.
