Playing Media on a BMW Motorrad Navigator V or BMW Motorrad Navigator VI

The media player app on the BMW Motorrad Navigator VI will allow you to play media from multiple sources. The media player app on the BMW Motorrad V cannot stream audio and can only play Bluetooth from the media player app. 

You must pair your device with a compatible headset supporting A2DP before you can use the media player. See List of Compatible Bluetooth Headsets for a BMW Motorrad Navigator V and VI. 

The Media Player can Play Music or Audio from these Sources:

• MP3 files stored on your Navigator device
  • See Automotive Devices That Play MP3 Files for MP3 song limits.
• Bluetooth audio from a paired phone
• Bluetooth audio from a compatible iPod or iPhone  

The media player will allow limited audio control of the connected Bluetooth device. Functions like play, pause, skip forward/back or browse available music are available. Album artwork can be displayed when connected using the iPhone or iPod setting.

To Access the Media Player App: 

1. Touch Apps

2. Touch Media Player 

The media player app will now be open and ready for use. You can then select or change the media source. 

To Change the Media Source: 

1. Touch the media source icon

2. Select a media source

3. Touch Save

Your selected media source will now play.
