Garmin Swim Battery Replacement

Based on typical use, the battery should last approximately one year. Battery life depends on how much time the watch spends in the various modes (swimming, sleep mode, etc.) and also how frequently certain functions are used, like the backlight.

Changing the Battery on the Garmin Swim:

NOTE: Use extreme care when replacing the battery. Do not damage the battery contacts, battery compartment, or O-ring. Damage can compromise the water resistance of the device.

  1. Wrap the end of a small flat screwdriver Number one with tape. The tape protects the watch exterior, O-ring, and battery compartment from damage.
