How To Move the Aircraft to My Home Airport on My G1000 PC Trainer

When the G1000® PC trainer initially begins, it will more than likely not be based at your home airport. In order to move the aircraft so that it begins at a specified airport, follow the steps below:

1. Begin on the MFD (Multi-Function Display) and press the Menu soft key twice.
   
2. At the top of the window, notice it will display a Demo Mode box on the right-hand side of the MFD.
   
3. Use the large FMS knob to scroll down to the Waypoint field and use the small FMS knob to enter an airport identifier, such as 'KDBQ' and press the ENT soft key.
   
4. To return to the MFD, press in on the FMS joystick knob and the Demo Mode box will disappear.
   

The aircraft should now be located at the airport that was entered in the Waypoint field.
