What Are the Community Edits and ActiveCaptain Community Layer in Your Navionics Boating App?

With the help of the millions of the Navionics® Boating app users who are continuously on the water, all kinds of valuable local information such as seasonal buoys, lights, rocks, moorings, boat ramps, and points of interest like restaurants and provisioning shops are constantly revised and enhanced. Community Edits and ActiveCaptain® Community Points of Interest are integrated with the Navionics Boating app. The Community Edits are a separate layer from the ActiveCaptain Community POIs layer. Both layers will display on your map when the individual option is turned on. The Community Edits and ActiveCaptain Community Layer will be on by default in Map Options and can be turned on/off from the Map Options section. These layers are not visible on the GOVT chart layer.

The symbols used for Community Edits icons are unique from the ActiveCapatain Community POIs symbols.
