Reporting Outdoor Map Errors
Garmin's map data is gathered through a number of different sources including local governments, principalities, etc. There may be an occasion where something is not reported correctly or was not able to be changed in time for the new version of mapping to be released.
We have provided an Error Report Form on our website that allows you to submit any findings regarding missing or incomplete locations or streets on the map. Be as descriptive as possible when completing the error report form.
Examples of Map Errors
Point of interest has moved or no longer exist
Device routing off of the road/trail (i.e. the path of road/trail is mapped incorrectly)
Map feature improperly named/numbered (roads/trails, water features, landscape features, etc.)
The coverage of roads and trails may vary between map products.
