Garmin Catalyst Race Profiles

Race profiles, consisting of both driver and car profiles, allow the Garmin Catalyst^™ Driving Performance Optimizer to separate the performance of one driver from another.

IMPORTANT: When creating a driver profile name, avoid using these characters: \ / * : ? < > " |

Although the software will allow you to save a profile name with special characters, they disrupt the path for storing video files in the Catalyst’s Android file system.

This results in no video being saved to the memory card.

To Add a Driver Profile:

Select the race profile icon
Select DRIVER
Select ADD A PROFILE
Select a profile icon, then select NEXT
Enter a nickname for the profile, then select NEXT
Create or sign in to a Garmin account to connect to the Garmin Catalyst™ app by selecting CONNECT.

To Edit or Delete a Driver Profile:

Select the race profile icon
Select DRIVER
Select the wrench icon by the profile you wish to edit
Select profile option(s) to edit
- You can delete the profile by selecting the trash can icon in the top right, then selecting YES
Once you have made all of your changes, select the back arrow.
Save changes by selecting YES
