My Varia RTL515 Will Not Turn On or Stay on After Charging the Battery

A Varia™ RTL515 radar tail light that will not turn on or will not stay on after charging the device may be the result of a defective micro USB port. If you are experiencing these symptoms and have ruled out the power cable being the issue, you can use our self-service exchange tool. There will be a repair fee to use this service for devices outside of their warranty period. Before you begin, you will need:

  • Serial Number

    • This is located on the device and on the box the device came in.

  • The email address associated with the device.

    • This should be the email address used to sign into Garmin Connect.
