Why is the Unit of Measure Not Updating?

Select models may require you to adjust the unit of measure in one or more of the places mentioned below:

Garmin Connect™ account user settings.
Garmin Connect device settings.
On the Garmin device itself.

Adjusting the Unit of Measure:

NOTE: Some steps below will not be compatible with devices that use Real Time Settings.

Garmin Connect User Settings

Garmin Connect App

Open the Garmin Connect app.
Select More (bottom right).
Select Settings.
Select User Settings.
Select Measurement Units.
Select one of the following:
- Statute
- Metric
- Statute UK

Garmin Connect Web

From a web browser, sign into your Garmin Connect account.
Select Profile & Account (top right).
Select Account Settings.
Select Display Preferences.
Select Measurement Units.
Select one of the following:
- Statute
- Metric
- Statute UK

Garmin Connect Device Settings

Garmin Connect App

Open the Garmin Connect app.
Select More (bottom right).
Select Garmin Devices.
Select your device.
Select one of the following:
- General > Measurement Units
- Device Settings > System
- System > Format > Units

Garmin Connect Web

From a web browser, sign into your Garmin Connect account.
Select Devices & Sync Status (top right).
Select your Device.
Select one of the following:
- General > Measurement Units
- Device Settings > System

On the Device

On the device, access the Settings menu.
Select System.
Select Units.
