Sending Courses From komoot to Your Garmin Device
Garmin® offers the ability to sync tours (courses) from komoot to your Garmin device through the Garmin Connect™ platform (see the komoot support article Using komoot on a Garmin device for more details).
NOTE: Planned tours that traverse areas outside of a user's unlocked regions in komoot will not transfer to Garmin Connect.
What Garmin Devices Support This Feature?
If your device supports loading courses, then you can use this new feature. For details on course support, refer to your owner's manual.
How Do I Set Up This Feature?
Choose your scenario below to reveal instructions.
I Already Have komoot Tied to My Garmin Connect Account
You will need to enable this new feature for it to work.
Sign in to your Garmin Connect account when prompted.
Select Save after confirming what data you would like to share from Garmin Connect to the komoot app.
Ensure Courses is toggled on (green) to allow komoot tours (courses) to be sent to your Garmin device.
Select Agree to connect your komoot and Garmin Connect accounts.
I Do Not See My komoot Tours in Garmin Connect
Komoot tours will only sync with Garmin Connect after they have been downloaded as GPX files. It is not necessary to upload or perform any other actions with the GPX files. Simply downloading the GPX files for the tours will cause them to sync with Connect.
