How Do I Manage the Garmin Jr App Notifications I Receive on My Phone?
You can manage the notifications you receive on your smartphone that are related to the Garmin Jr.™ app using the steps below:
NOTE: The Garmin Jr app notifications will not appear on the phone if Kid Mode is enabled. For information about Kid Mode feature, see: Using the Garmin Jr. App Kid Mode
Garmin Jr App Notification Settings:
Open the Garmin Jr. app.
Select More (bottom right).
Select App Settings.
Select Notifications.
Toggle each category on or off depending on the notifications you want to receive.
Boundary Notification Settings:
Open the Garmin Jr. app.
Select your child's profile.
Select Settings.
Select Boundaries.
Select the Boundary you want to be notified for.
Toggle Alerts on

Smartphone Notification Settings:
NOTE: Instructions below should work for the majority of phone models. If you have additional questions please contact your phone's manufacturer.
Open the Android Settings app.
Select Apps.
Select the Garmin Jr. app.
Select Permissions.
Select Notifications.
Allow Permissions.
Additional Troubleshooting:
Notifications are managed from the iOS notification settings on the phone.
Open your iPhone Settings app.
Select Notifications.
Select the Garmin Jr. app.
From here, your screen should resemble the following:
To reiterate, your notification settings for each app should have the following settings in place.
Allow Notifications should be toggled on (green).
The ALERTS section should have the Notification Center check marked
.If you want to stop receiving notifications from this app on your Garmin device, just remove the check mark from the Notification Center alert.
For the LOCK SCREEN PREFERENCES you should have Show Previews set to Always or While Unlocked.
