Changing Time Settings on an Automotive Device

When your device is locked onto a satellite signal, the time syncs with the GPS satellites. Your device also has the ability to automatically update the time based on the time zone that you are in. If you happen to be in a part of the world where your device does not recognize the correct time due to a change in time zone, you can manually adjust the clock on your device.

Follow the instructions below to change the time setting:

1. Touch Settings (the wrench icon)
2. Touch Locale
3. Touch the time next to the picture of the clock
4. Select a Time Format and touch OK
5. Select a Time Zone and touch OK
6. Select a daylight savings preference and touch OK

The time will now be adjusted.
