Setting Up a Replacement Garmin eLog Compliant ELD
When you receive a replacement Garmin eLog Compliant ELD, to replace/exchange, plug the device in and pair to your Garmin eLog App. The data it records is stored in your app, not the ELD, so no backup or transfer is required.
To Pair a New Garmin eLog Compliant ELD:
- Open the Garmin eLog app
- Sign into your driver profile
- Touch Settings
- Touch Adapter Setup
- Follow the onscreen prompts
This will take you through the initial setup for the adapter just like when the Garmin eLog app was first installed.
