Creating or Setting up a Tournament in the Garmin Golf App

The Garmin Golf™ app allows users to create tournaments and invite their friends to play. These tournaments allow the creator to choose a tournament name, date, time, round type, and select the golf course.

Using the Garmin Golf app you can view the upcoming tournaments that you have accepted for more information such as date, time, and course. You can also leave comments and chat during the tournament.

Creating a Tournament in the Golf App

1. Open Garmin Golf app.

2. Select .

3. Select Create a Tournament.

4. Select a course.

5. Enter a tournament name.

6. Select a date.

7. Enter a time.

8. Select a Round Type.

   NOTE: This option will only be adjustable for courses with at least 18 holes.

9. Invite other players.

   NOTE: Only friends with a Garmin Connect™ account can be invited to the tournament. It is recommended to add other players as connections in Garmin Connect for ease of use. For instructions on adding connections, see - Add and Remove 'Connections' in Garmin Connect.

10. Select Save in the upper right hand corner.

Once the tournament has been created on the app it can still be edited before the tournament has started.
