Using a Minn Kota Trolling Motor Transducer With a Garmin Marine Device

Minn Kota offers some trolling motors with a transducer built-in. A few select Garmin chartplotters can connect to the Universal Sonar 2 transducers and the Dual Spectrum CHIRP transducers that are built in to some of the Minn Kota trolling motor using a Minn Kota adapter cable. The below lists are grouped by sonar pin configuration with the corresponding adapter part number. Once connected, refer to the chartplotter owner's manual and refer to "Selecting the Transducer Type" to select the Minn Kota option.

4-pin Garmin Chartplotters and Fishfinders

If the Garmin chartplotter or fishfinder requires a 4-pin transducer, use the MKR-US2-12 part for Universal 2 transducers or the MKR-DSC-12 part for Dual Spectrum CHIRP transducers.
