Using Waypoint Notes in the Garmin Explore App
The Garmin Explore™ app allows you to add notes to waypoints to help you remember why you wanted to save them (e.g. waterfall or turn left at this sign). Keep in mind that these waypoint notes will only be displayed in the Garmin Explore app and on select Garmin handheld devices when they have been synced with the app. The following handheld devices have the ability to view, edit, and sync waypoint notes with the Garmin Explore app:

When exporting waypoints directly from the Garmin Explore app, waypoint notes will not be saved in the exported GPX files.
