Using the Map Shortcuts on an Automotive Device

To Add or Delete a Map Shortcut to the Map Screen:

1. Touch View Map 

2. Touch the  menu icon in the lower right corner to open Map Tools

3. Touch the wrench icon 

4. Touch the icon on the right you would like to add or delete.

  • Touch the Plus icon to add a Map Shortcut. 
  • Touch the Trash can icon to delete a map Shortcut.

All Other Devices

1. Touch View Map 

2. Touch the menu icon in the lower right corner to open Map Tools

3. Touch the wrench icon 

 

4. Touch the icon on the right you would like to add or delete.

  • Touch the Plus icon to add a Map Shortcut. 
  • Touch the Trash can icon to delete a map Shortcut.

Map Shortcut Options:

  • Edit Route - Opens the Edit Route menu. 
  • Garmin PowerSwitch - Toggles the selected PowerSwitch.
  • Map Layers - Opens the map layers menu.
    • Not available on all devices
  • Map Orientation - Changes the map orientation.
  • Mute - Mutes audio
    • Not available on all devices
  • Plan Stops - Opens Plan Stops search.
    • Not available on all devices
    • Only displays on the Map screen during an active route.
  • Popular Truck Paths - Toggles Popular Truck Paths. 
    • Only available on compatible dēzl™ devices.
  • Save Current Location - Saves the current location.
    • Not available on all devices
  • Save Video - Saves Dash Cam Video.
    • Only available for the Dash Cam devices.
  • Save Waypoint - Saves current location as a waypoint 
    • Not available on all devices
  • Skip - Skips the next stop in the route.
  • Stop - Stops the route.
  • Wireless Cameras - Displays the camera
