Alpha 200 or Alpha 200i Training Button Setup and Customization

You can customize the training buttons along the top of the Alpha® 200 or Alpha® 200i dog tracking and training handhelds. Customizing training buttons allows you change the training keys, stimulation type, and stimulation levels. Settings can also be changed for each dog.

Customizing Training Buttons

1. From the Home Screen, touch Training Setup
2. Touch Training Keys
3. Select a row or individual field that you want to edit
4. Follow the on-screen prompts to make the adjustments needed

Button Layout

You can customize your training buttons to One Per Dog or Three Per Dog configuration. One Per Dog layout will simplify the training commands to one button for each dog. This can be a better layout when a lot of dogs are being tracked and trained at once. The Three per dog will setup three buttons for each dog, this layout is better used when focusing on training. The Three Per Dog layout is the default layout to change the button layout follow the steps below. 

1. From the Main Menu select Training Setup.
2. Select Training Defaults.
3. Select Button Layout.
4. Select the layout you would prefer. 

When using the One Per Dog layout you can quickly adjust the training command from any where outside of the setup menu.

1. Select the training box you want to adjust.
2. Adjust the slider to the command you want.
3. The button is now adjusted.
