How to View the Battery Power Indicator and Adjust Backlight on an Outdoor Handheld
Most outdoor handhelds have the option to view the battery power indicator on the backlight adjustment screen.
To see the status of the battery and adjust the backlight, briefly press the power button while the handheld is turned on.
Some older legacy handheld models show the battery indicator in the menu instead of the backlight adjustment screen.
