Access Navionics Charts and Features on Humminbird 3XX, 5XX, 6XX, 7XX, 8XX, 9XX or 11XX Plotters

Plotter Software

IMPORTANT: Plotter manufacturer’s latest software updates required.
To check your plotter’s software: Press the MENU key during the power on sequence and choose System Status. Software version is displayed on the main Self Test screen.
Current Chart Plotter/Sounder Software Update Versions
NOTE: Do not use your Navionics® card to update your plotter software or have it in your plotter when you update!

TIP: If you are not physically on the water or have a GPS fix you must have the unit set to SIMULATOR to view the chart details. Press the MENU key during the power on sequence and choose Simulator.

Chart Layers

From the Chart View press MENU 2X > Chart tab > Chart Select
Nautical Chart – Right arrow over to Chart Card
SonarChart™ – high-definition bottom contour detail – Right arrow over to Fish N Chip
If you have more than one card slot, you may see it referenced as Right Chart Card or Left Fish N Chip.

Navionics Recommended Chart Settings

From the Chart View press MENU 2X > Chart tab > Map Borders > MMC/SD card only
Chart Detail Level > All
Spot Soundings > Visible

Features Available with Navionics Platinum+™ Mapping Products

For Platinum-compatible models

Relief Shading or Sonar Imagery

From the Chart View press MENU 2X > Platinum tab (Navionics logo) > Chart Aerial Overlay and right arrow key to Land & Water.
Transparency: From your Chart View press MENU 1X > Overlay Transparency – 0% = Full Overlay (harder to see chart details) or 100% = Less Overlay (harder to see overlay details)

Panoramic Photos

Target a camera icon using your cursor and press the INFO softkey to display photo.

3D View

Setup from the Chart View press MENU 2X > Platinum tab (Navionics logo) >
Platinum 3D – Visible
3D Aerial Overlay - Visible
Press the VIEW softkey until the desired view or split screen view appears.
