(2014) Service Advisory 1413: GMX 200 Resets and Safety Monitor Codes 14xx, 48xx, 49xx, 56xx, and 93xx

AFFECTED PRODUCTS: All GMX 200 models with Software Version 2.13 or earlier that are connected to a GDL 69/69A Data Link.

ISSUE: Garmin has identified a condition whereby the GMX 200 may reset when METAR data received from the GDL 69/69A exceeds the space allocated for it in memory. The GMX 200 reset is a normal response to an unrecoverable situation and is not a hardware defect.

RESOLUTION: This issue will be resolved in a future software release.
