Ordering a Replacement Transom Mounting Bracket for a Garmin Transducer

Garmin does offer replacement transom mounting brackets for transducers. Before ordering the mounting bracket, verify what transducer is being used as there are different brackets for different transducers.

There are a two ways to determine the type of transducer being used.

1. Find the Garmin part number on the transducer. To find this number, locate the white sticker attached to the transducer's cable. This sticker should be located on the end of the cable with the connector. This is the opposite end of the cable that the transducer is on. This sticker should have a number on it that begins with 010- (e.g. 010-10249-00).  

2. Find out which transducer is being used by looking at the transducer itself. Some transducers, if made by Airmar, will have an Airmar part number molded into the plastic. Some examples of Airmar part numbers are P23, P32, or P66.

If the transducer has an XID or Garmin ID wire, its model can be found using the following steps:

1. Begin on the Home screen

2. Select Sonar

3. Select Traditional

4. Press Menu                                                                                                                                         

5. Select Sonar Setup

6. Select Installation

7. Select Transducer Diagnostics
