Overlay BirdsEye Onto Other Map Products
Garmin devices utilize a map draw order to display maps. The draw order for BirdsEye can be adjusted when downloaded with BaseCamp™ software, or on the Garmin device, with the steps below so it is displayed over or under other map products.
Since many map products are made of shapes (like topographic lines or roads), BirdsEye can be displayed just below these shapes so that they are overlaid on top of the BirdsEye. Alternatively, the BirdsEye can be raised above other maps to completely obscure all other map products with the BirdsEye.
NOTE: Since BirdsEye Satellite Imagery and BirdsEye TOPO are made from pixels (a series of dots), there is no empty space in the products, and as a result the two products cannot be overlaid so as to see both at the same time.
