Using a supplemental data card to update the G1000 Navigation Database.

It is highly recommended to follow the proper database loading procedures stated in Appendix B of your airframe’s Pilot’s Guide. It is not recommended to download the Navigation Data on the supplemental data cards, because it may cause mismatch errors. Navigation Data should be downloaded to a separate SD card on the top slot of the Multi-function (MFD) display.
