Managing Maps with the inReach Explorer+

Maps can be downloaded to the inReach Explorer®+ outdoor handheld for use in the field. Having several maps on your device can clutter the map display if too many of them are selected to show. You can use the steps below to manage which maps show on the device. When selecting a map for a different location the map position does not automatically move from your current location. To view different areas, pan the map around using.

Managing Maps

1. Select Map.

   

2. Press .

3. Select Manage Maps.
   

4. Use the directional pad to highlight maps, and to select or deselect maps.

   

   NOTE: Some maps will have additional mapping subsets. When you press , the subsets will appear and can be selected or deselected.
