Sending App Logs From the Garmin Connect App to Garmin Product Support

Garmin Product Support may ask for app logs in order to investigate an issue. If instructed, follow the below steps to complete the process.

Sending Logs If You Are Signed Into the Garmin Connect™ App:

  1. Open the Garmin Connect app.

  2. Select More (bottom right).

  3. Select Help.

  4. Select Diagnostic Report.

  5. Enter the reference code provided by Product Support.

  6. Select Send Report.

    • If you see a pop-up indicating the feature requires you to turn on the Storage permission go ahead and select OK. You will see another pop-up where you can select Allow to enable this permission.

  7. Select Done when the report confirmation screen appears.

  8. Select the back icon to return to the app Menu.


Sending Logs If You Are Not Signed Into the Garmin Connect App:

NOTE: If the steps below do not work, make sure your app version is up to date.

  1. Open the Garmin Connect app.

  2. Press and hold your finger anywhere above where it shows the "Create Account" and "Sign In" options.

  3. A pop-up will appear for the Diagnostics Report screen.

    • This may require holding for up to 20 seconds. 

  4. Enter the reference code provided by Product Support.

  5. Select Send Report.

    • If you see a pop-up indicating the feature requires you to turn on the Storage permission go ahead and select OK. You will see another pop-up where you can select Allow to enable this permission.

  6. Select Done when the report confirmation screen appears.
