Using the Trip Planner or myTrips app on a Honda Navigation System

1. Touch Navigation

2. Touch Where To?

3. Touch myTrips

4. Touch Create Trip

5. Touch Add Starting Point

6. Search for the start location

7. Touch Select after touching the start location

8. Touch Add Destinations 

9. Search for the next destination

10. Touch Select after touching the next destination

11. Repeat steps 8 through 10 to add additional destinations

• The final destination you enter will be the end location for the trip.
• Use the arrows on the right side of the screen to drag the destinations into the desired order

12. Press Back to return to the myTrips menu

13. Touch Go to begin the trip 

The trip will automatically be named based on the ending location. See Editing a Trip below for instructions on changing the trip name.

12. Press Back to return to the myTrips menu

13. Touch Go to begin the trip

4. Touch New Trip 

5. Touch Select Start Location

6. Search for the start location

7. Touch Select after touching the start location

8. Touch + (in the upper left corner) 

9. Search for the end location

10. Touch Select after touching the end location

11. Touch + (in the upper left corner) 

12. Search for the next destination in the trip 

13. Touch Select after touching the next destination 

14. Repeat steps 11 through 13 to continue adding destinations

• Use the arrows on the right side of the screen to drag the destinations into the desired order

15. Touch Next after selecting all destinations

16. Enter a name for the trip

17. Touch Done 

18. Touch Go to begin the trip or Back to return to the Trip Planner menu

5. Touch Edit Destinations or Touch Trip Settings 

• Touching Edit Destinations will allow the order of the destinations to be changed, destinations to be added, and destinations to be deleted. 

• Touching Trip Settings Provides the Following Options:

  • Trip Name: This option will allow the trip name to be changed or customized.

  • Optimize Order: This option will optimize the trip into the most efficient order based on your navigation settings. For the optimize feature to work, the trip must have at least 4 destinations.

  • Calculation Mode: This option allows the calculation mode used for the trip to be changed. See How the Routing Preferences Work on a Honda Navigation System for information on the different calculation modes.

  • Avoidances: This option will display a list of available avoidances for the trip. See Navigational Avoidances on a Honda Navigation System for information on the avoidance options.

5. Touch the menu bars (3 lines) in the upper left corner

The options for editing the trip will now appear on the screen.

From the Edit Menu you Can:

• Edit Destinations: This option allows the order of the destinations to be changed, destinations to be added, and destinations to be deleted. 

• Delete Trip: This option will permanently delete the selected trip from the system. After selecting this option, a final prompt confirming the deletion will appear.

• Rename Trip: This option allows the trip name to be edited from the original name entered.

• Optimize Trip: This option will optimize the trip into the most efficient order based on your navigation settings. For the optimize feature to work, the trip must have at least 4 destinations.
