Navionics Boating: Creating Fishing Ranges
The Fishing Ranges feature allows to customize and display on our SonarChart™ map layer up to 5 depth ranges at the same time! The app interface makes it really intuitive to set: choose a color, select the depth values and name your range: the map will show depth gradients with different color shadings.
To create fishing ranges, do the following:
- Tap the Map Options icon
on the map or select Menu > Map Options - Select SonarChart™ under Chart Layers
- Toggle the option for Fishing Ranges ON to enable the first range
- Edit the name if desired
- Choose a color
- Set the depth values (either using the slider or tapping on the dedicated box)
Tap Delete to remove a range.
Tap Add range to create additional ranges; in case of ranges that overlap, the part in common will get the color of the last range created.
