Garmin® Marine Network | Garmin BlueNet Network Settings on a Fusion® Apollo™ Stereo

A Fusion® Apollo™ stereo can be connected to the Garmin® Marine Network or Garmin BlueNet™ Network on a compatible GPSMAP® device¹ using a Garmin Marine Network to Fusion Cable or Garmin BlueNet Network to RJ45 Adapter Cable. When this is done, the stereo network settings will automatically change to Garmin Marine Network as of software version 6.20. The stereo will need to be turned off and on again for the change to take effect. All other network settings will be unavailable while the stereo remains connected to the Garmin Marine Network.

When connected this way, Wi-Fi features for the stereo like Apple AirPlay are only available by connecting to the GPSMAP Wi-Fi. 

To enable Wi-Fi on the GPSMAP

1. From the home screen, select ActiveCaptain
2. Select Wi-Fi to enable Wi-Fi setup
3. Follow the on-screen prompts to configure the Wi-Fi network
4. Open the smart device Wi-Fi settings and connect to the newly created Wi-Fi network

If the network settings on the stereo need to be accessed, the stereo must be disconnected from the Garmin Marine Network / Garmin BlueNet Network and turned off and on again.
