Changing the Map Orientation on the Montana 700 Series
With up-to-date software, the Montana® 700, 700i, and 750i outdoor handhelds allow you to change the map orientation in two ways.
Changing the Map Orientation in the Settings
Select
to access the main menu.Select Setup.
Select Map.
NOTE: This option can also be accessed from the map page by selecting
, then Map Setup.
Select Orientation.
Select an option:
Select North Up to show north at the top of the page.
Select Track Up to show your current direction of travel at the top of the page.
Select Automotive Mode to show an automotive perspective with the direction of travel at the top.
Tapping the North Arrow
If Track Up has been selected in the settings, as described above, a North arrow will appear in the top left corner of the map. Tapping on the North arrow allows you to toggle back and forth between Track Up and North Up orientations.
