Pairing the Alpha 200 Plus and Alpha 300 Series with compatible Alpha Handhelds for Contact Tracking and Messaging

With the Alpha® series dog tracking handheld devices, you can track other Alpha handhelds on the map so you know where they are at all times. You can also send messages to your contacts. These features are called Contact Tracking and Contact Messaging. The communication signal transmits over MURS (Multi-Use Radio System) and is not related to the inReach®/Iridium satellite system capabilities or tools of the Alpha 300 series and Alpha 200 series handhelds. There is no charge to use Contact Tracking and Contact Messaging.

An Alpha handheld device can track up to 20 other devices at a time (including compatible dog collar devices and other Alpha handheld devices).

Contact Tracking must be turned on for these features to be enabled. It is turned OFF by default.
