Viewing Tread Preloaded Mapping on a Computer

The Tread® - Overland Edition, Tread® XL - Overland Edition, and Tread® - SXS Edition GPS navigators are preloaded with street mapping and TopoActive PowerSports mapping. See below for info on viewing this mapping on a computer.

NOTE: Only one map can be viewed in the Garmin BaseCamp™ software at a time.

Street Mapping (City Navigator)

• Garmin BaseCamp can be used to view street mapping if the Tread is plugged into the computer.

  • View Preloaded Maps, Preprogrammed microSD/SD Cards, and Downloaded Maps with BaseCamp.
    

• City Navigator mapping cannot be viewed in the Garmin Explore™ website.

TopoActive PowerSports Mapping

• Garmin BaseCamp can be used to view TopoActive PowerSports mapping if the Tread is plugged into the computer.

• The Garmin Explore website cannot be used to view TopoActive PowerSports mapping.

• The Tread® App is recommended to create and manage routes, tracks, and waypoints to sync with the device.
  • Using the Route Planner in the Tread App.
  • Syncing, Adding, and Deleting Explore Data on a Tread Device.

• The Garmin Explore website can be used to create tracks and waypoints to sync with the device, but the Explore website does not support route creation for Tread devices.
