Android: Restricting the Navionics Boating App From Using Cellular Data in the Background
Though receiving GPS location data does not use data in itself, some other features of the app may utilize your cellular data in order to fetch information, use certain overlays, send your location, and more.
To restrict the app's background data usage:
- Go to Settings.
- Tap on Apps & notifications.
- Tap on See all apps.
- Select the Boating app.
- Toggle off Background data.
