Garmin Dash Cam Cannot be Used Without an SD Card

NOTE: microSD memory cards are not included with some Garmin Dash Cam devices.   Device packaging and the Specs product pages on www.garmin.com will advise which ones include them.

The Garmin Dash Cam requires an SD card to record video or take pictures because the device does not have any internal memory for storing files.

Device settings can be adjusted with or without an SD card inserted. See the videos below for instructions to remove and insert a memory card.
