Changing the Symbol of a Waypoint on the GPSMAP 66/67 Series

Use the steps below to change the symbol of a waypoint on the GPSMAP 66 series handheld. Waypoint symbols are broken up into various categories. When selecting a new symbol, you can cycle through the categories by selecting the left or right arrow on the bottom.

Changing a Waypoint Symbol

1. From the Main Menu, select Waypoint Manager
2. Select a waypoint
3. Use the direction pad to highlight the symbol field, press Enter
4. Use the direction pad to highlight a new symbol, press Enter
5. Press Quit when done

If you would like to make other changes to the waypoint, simple use the direction pad to highlight the field and press Enter and input desired changes.
