Error message "Incompatible Device, Software Update Required (4xxx or 5xxx) Data Server” after performing a software update

This message appears when an update has not completed or an error has occurred during the update process. To correct this issue, please perform a Forced Update on the device. For instructions on how to perform the Forced Update, please see Related Content.

Once the update is complete, power the device OFF and back ON to see if the error message goes away. If it does not appear, the device will be up to date and will function correctly. If the error still appears, the device will need to be sent in for repair.  Please Contact Marine Product Support
