My Garmin Swim 2 Is Not Detecting My Heart Rate

The wrist heart rate feature of the Garmin Swim 2 is designed to read and record your heart rate while the watch is turned on and worn on your wrist. If you believe that your watch is not recording your heart rate, ensure that the feature did not accidentally get turned off. Follow these steps in the manual to ensure that your wrist heart rate setting is set to Auto: Turning Off the Wrist-based Heart Rate Monitor.

If the setting is set to Auto, lift up on the watch while it is on your wrist and determine if the green LED lights are flashing. If the LED lights are not flashing and your watch does not display your heart rate info from the heart rate widget, the watch will need to be replaced.
