Bike Compatibility with Tacx NEO 3M Smart Trainer

The Tacx® NEO 3M smart trainer is designed to fit most modern bicycles, however, there are a select number of bike models known to be incompatible.

General Guidelines

In addition to specific models that are incompatible, consider the following generalities:

1. Triathlon/Time-Trial Bikes

   • Due to the aerodynamic nature of these types of bike frames, some do not have enough clearance between the seat and chain stays.

2. Disc Brakes

   • Depending on where the brake caliper is placed on the frame, some calipers may interfere and need to be adjusted.

3. Eccentric Bottom Brackets or Odd Frame Shapes

   • These bikes may present challenges to mount.

There may be other general aspects of your bike that may make it incompatible with this trainer.
