Understanding the inReach Address for Professional Accounts
The inReach® satellite communicator address is used exclusively to send messages from one inReach to another. The inReach address is derived from the email address of the user and cannot be changed.
Finding inReach Addresses for Account Admin:
The account administrator can see all inReach Addresses for user sub-accounts.
Log into explore.garmin.com with account admin credentials.
Select My Info.
Select Contacts.
Select a Contact.
The inReach Address is listed under INREACH ADDR.
Finding the inReach Address for Individual Users
A user with an assigned inReach device and log in credentials for the Garmin Explore™ website can view the inReach Address in their sub-account. Alternatively, the inReach Address can be viewed on the inReach device itself after a successful sync.
If the inReach Address is needed in the field, it can be viewed in the device settings.
Press MENU twice to access the main menu.

How is the inReach Address Determined?
The inReach Address is generated from the portion of the email address used for the inReach user prior to the @, also known as the local-part.
Example: If the email address is peanut.butter@chocolate.com, then the inReach Address assigned to the user would be peanut.butter@inreach.garmin.com.
In cases where there is already another inReach user using an identical local-part, a number is added to the inReach address at the end of the local-part (e. g. peanut.butter1@inreach.garmin.com).
