Save, Play Back, or Delete Video Files on a Garmin Dash Cam 10 or 20

While turned on, the Garmin Dash Cam always records what's on the road. Using a built-in G-sensor, the device will automatically save footage on impact. When the device detects a collision, it automatically saves the video file currently being recorded, as well as the file recorded before and after the collision.

On the Dash Cam, it is possible to manually save, play back, and delete recorded video files.

To play back a video:

1. Press the button under the Playback icon 
2. Press the button under OK with Video highlighted
3. Press the button under the up or down arrows to highlight the desired video
4. Press the button under the Play icon 

The selected video will now play.

To save a video while recording:

Press the button under the Save icon while recording.

Much like when an event is detected, manually saving a file will also save the file recorded before and after.

To delete a video:

1. Press the button under the Settings icon 
2. Press the button under the down arrow until File Delete is highlighted
3. Press the button under OK
4. Press OK with Video highlighted
5. Press the button under the up or down arrows to highlight the desired video
6. Press the button under Delete

The selected video will now be deleted.
