(2023) Service Advisory 22018 Rev B: Smart Glide™ Airport

PRODUCTS AFFECTED:

Garmin GTN Xi units with software version 20.20 and later with Smart Glide enabled are affected.

ISSUE:

An airport that is within glide range as depicted on the map may not be a selectable destination if it is less than 2NM away while flying at low altitude (less than 2500 feet AGL).

ACTION:

Maneuver and land without the use of Smart Glide.

RESOLUTION:

This has been fixed in GTN Xi Software Version 20.30. Refer to Garmin TSO Service Bulletin 22108.
